WoodtoWonderful is a reputable brand that offers a wide range of programs and services to support the community. Founded by Louise and Doug Brown in 1987, WoodtoWonderful started its journey in the suburbs of Washington, DC, before settling in Reading, PA, in 1997. Their initial mission was to create wooden toys for underprivileged children, and to date, they have produced and distributed over 150,000 of these wonderful toys.

In May 2004, WoodtoWonderful purchased a deteriorating building on North 8th Street and transformed it into their hub for community outreach programs.
