## Description

Woogle, developed by the search engine group at the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam, is a specialized search engine designed for documents released under the Dutch Public Access to Information Act (Wet Open Overheid, Woo). This innovative system enables citizens, civil servants, journalists, and researchers to easily search and access all available Woo documents from various governmental bodies in one centralized platform. 

Woogle not only focuses on the technical development of the search engine but also emphasizes the importance of human-computer interaction. The project strives to enrich the data associated with released documents to enhance their usability, ensuring that the information is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). Collaborations with governmental organizations, civil society, and software providers are pivotal in achieving these goals.

Through ongoing efforts to increase awareness and foster a culture of openness, Woogle aims to make valuable data shine, promoting better accessibility and usability for all.
