WOPHA (Women Photographers International Archive) is a groundbreaking brand dedicated to highlighting the remarkable contributions of women photographers to modern and contemporary art. Their mission is to rewrite the artistic canon and provoke social change by promoting and researching the diverse voices in photography, including those of female, trans, queer, and non-binary artists. Founded by art curator Aldeide Delgado and artist Francisco Maso, WOPHA began as a database showcasing the unique stories of women-identified Cuban photographers.

It has since expanded its scope to include an international community of photographers. WOPHA encourages the exhibition, collection, and active scholarship of works by women photographers, empowering art historians and curators to share them more frequently with the public. Their wide range of services includes the digitization of historical archives, the establishment of a specialized library, the publication of catalogs and books, lectures and workshops, artist residencies and fellowships, and the development of online and physical exhibitions.
