## Description

Worker Info Exchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering workers by providing access to and insights from the data collected from them in their workplaces. Whether you are an Uber driver or a Deliveroo rider, our goal is to shift the balance of power away from big platforms and towards the workers who contribute to their success every day. By collaborating as a collective and pooling our data, we can demand better conditions and rights at work. We tackle the challenges faced by gig economy workers who are managed by hidden algorithms through three key activities. Firstly, we facilitate data access by making subject access and data portability requests on behalf of workers, shedding light on working conditions, pay determinations, and performance assessments. Additionally, we conduct targeted investigations and data analyses to expose unfair algorithmic decision-making. Lastly, we support trade unions and grassroots worker organizations to aggregate their data through data trusts, providing workers with powerful analysis resources for collective bargaining and action. Join Worker Info Exchange in the fight for digital and worker rights. Together, we can drive positive change in the gig economy.
