## Description

Workshop Kitchen & Bar is a Palm Springs restaurant and catering business founded in 2012 by classically trained chefs Michael Beckman and Joe Mourani, who trained at the Paul Bocuse Institute. Located in the city’s historic Design District, the business serves Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, the High Desert, and communities throughout the Coachella Valley. Its culinary reputation includes James Beard recognition and four Michelin recognitions, according to the supplied website text.

Workshop offers custom catering for weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, and other events. Services include plated dinners, family-style meals, cocktail receptions, passed hors d’oeuvres, drop-off catering, full-service events, and off-site pizza parties prepared with a portable wood-fired oven. Chefs tailor menus to clients’ event plans, dietary requirements, and guest preferences, using seasonal, locally inspired cuisine.

The company also provides event spaces, coordination, and professional service staff, with options ranging from its modernist dining room and Spanish Eclectic courtyard to full-venue buyouts. Its sister venue, Truss & Twine, offers private gatherings and craft cocktail programs.
