## Description

The World Barista Championship (WBC) is the premier global competition dedicated to showcasing exceptional coffee craftsmanship, organized annually by the Specialty Coffee Association. This prestigious event culminates in a thrilling championship where over 50 elite baristas from around the world compete to present four espressos, four milk drinks, and four innovative signature beverages, all within a compelling 15-minute performance. Judged by WCC Certified Judges, competitors are evaluated on various criteria, including taste, technical skill, creativity, and presentation.

To promote the barista profession and elevate coffee culture, the WBC not only celebrates individual talent but also engages a diverse global audience through local and regional events leading up to the championship. In 2025, the World Barista Championship will take place in Milan, Italy, from October 17-21. Managed by World Coffee Events, the competition underscores a commitment to excellence in coffee and fosters a vibrant community of coffee enthusiasts and professionals alike.
