## Description

The World Council of Optometry (WCO) is committed to promoting eye health and vision care as a fundamental human right. Their mission is to facilitate the development of optometry worldwide, offering support to optometrists through advocacy, education, policy development, and humanitarian outreach. The WCO provides a wide range of services and resources to its members and the global optometry community. They offer educational webinars, legislative resources, and a toolkit for registration and standards. Additionally, they host the renowned WCO World Congresses and provide specialized resource sites for myopia and dry eye.
