World Feeds Limited, also known as Thorne, is an established brand that has been operating since 2004. With a focus on improving the way fish are fed, the company formulates, manufactures, packages, and exports high-quality fish feeds to the UK and worldwide. Founded by Technical Director Mark Wilson, who has a background in ornamental aquaculture and breeding programs, World Feeds was created upon the realization that the nutritional requirements of the diverse range of fish species available in the market were not being met by existing products.

This led to the formation of a team of fish experts, scientists, and engineers, including Managing Director Peter Kersh, who shared the vision of creating the best fish food in the world. Today, World Feeds has a global presence with its brands, including Vitalis Aquatic Nutrition and VAF (Vita Aqua Feeds). These brands are exported to over 40 countries, supplying retailers and public aquariums worldwide.
