## Description

The World Fencing League (WFL) is a professional sports league founded by three-time Olympian, Olympic bronze medalist, and two-time world champion Miles Chamley-Watson. Its mission is to give fencing a global stage and help transform the sport into a cultural movement that inspires the next generation. The league showcases elite men’s and women’s athletes across foil, épée, and sabre, organized into Team Blade and Team Shield. Its debut featured 12 competitors and a $100,000 prize pool in a high-stakes, single-day format designed for intensity and accessible viewing.

WFL combines fast-paced competition with real-time technology, data, and a premium audience experience. The league offers fans ways to watch live events and revisit the action through full-event footage, highlights, memorable moments, and athlete interviews on its YouTube channel. Its debut took place at the Shrine in Los Angeles and sold out, drawing substantial media and social attention. The World Fencing League is part of Chiron Sports Group.
