## Description

The World Harp Congress (WHC), established in 1981, is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting harpists globally. The Congress originated from the Harpweeks initiated in the Netherlands and has evolved into a vibrant international forum held every three years in various countries. It aims to foster the exchange of ideas, stimulate collaborations, and promote the composition of new harp music.

Upcoming events include the One Harp World gathering in Toronto, Canada, scheduled for July 28 – August 3, 2026, co-hosted with the American Harp Society. Additionally, WHC provides resources such as the WHC Review and an insurance program tailored for harpists, ensuring a supportive network for both established and young musicians.
