## Description

The World Nomad Games is an international cultural and sporting event organized by the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. It brings together people, traditions and sporting practices from nomadic cultures, promoting dialogue around heritage, values and sustainable development. The sixth Games are scheduled for August 31 to September 6, 2026, in the Kyrgyz Republic, with venues in Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul region.

The programme spans three areas: etnosport, ethnoculture, and science and traditional knowledge. Sporting disciplines include national games, horse racing and mounted competitions, traditional wrestling, strength sports, intellectual games, archery, and hunting traditions involving birds and dogs. The event also features traditional crafts, music and cultural activities, alongside opportunities for experts to exchange knowledge about culture, ecology and heritage.

Through its website, the Games Secretariat provides programme and event information, news, official documents, media resources, accreditation and ticket access. It also invites organizations to become partners and offers information for participants and volunteers. Previous editions have taken place in Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
