## Description

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day (WTCQD) is a global initiative aimed at promoting the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong around the world. Celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April, this event engages hundreds of cities across over 80 nations, bringing communities together to participate in mass demonstrations and workshops focused on mind-body practices. WTCQD offers extensive resources, including a free global teachers directory, online video lessons, and a library of medical research highlighting how these practices can prevent and treat various health issues.

The organization emphasizes the integration of Tai Chi and Qigong into different sectors, such as corporate wellness, education, and rehabilitation programs, advocating for mind-body education at all levels. Led by founders William and Angela Wong Douglas, WTCQD is also involved in the Global Transformation Project, seeking a UN resolution for the inclusion of mind-body education in public curricula worldwide. Join their movement to cultivate worldwide health and awareness, and access valuable tools to organize local events, participate, and connect with fellow practitioners.
