EarthEcho International is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by Philippe and Alexandra Cousteau, honoring their father, Philippe Cousteau Sr. The organization envisions a world where all individuals can positively impact environmental conservation. EarthEcho mobilizes youth globally to protect and restore ocean ecosystems, engaging over 2 million individuals across 146 countries in various programs aimed at education and action.

Central to EarthEcho's mission is the EarthEcho Water Challenge, one of the world’s largest citizen science programs, empowering young people to monitor and protect local waterways. The OurEcho Challenge encourages middle school students to tackle biodiversity loss through innovative solutions. Additionally, EarthEcho Academy provides educators with resources for environmental education and training, promoting awareness and action in classrooms.

By fostering youth leadership and community engagement, EarthEcho International builds the capacity for a new generation of environmental stewards dedicated to creating a sustainable future for our planet. Their approach ensures that young leaders are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to confront pressing environmental challenges.
