Obscurity is measured using monthly Wikipedia views: famous places attract many views and yield shallower dives, while more obscure locations send the player’s worm deeper. Each run features ten rounds, with 30 seconds to answer each prompt. Players can keep guessing without penalty for incorrect or unrecognized answers, but cannot repeat answers within a run.
