## Description

Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) is a registered Nigerian non-governmental organization founded in 2019 and based in Enugu State, with programs reaching communities across Nigeria. It works to advance women’s rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls, complementing the efforts of governments and other organizations. Its approach combines advocacy, community programs, partnerships, and support for marginalized groups across ten areas.

WOSCONET promotes women’s participation in governance and access to education, including leadership training, scholarships, and mentorship. Its services and initiatives also include menstrual hygiene education and supplies, maternal and reproductive health campaigns, free medical outreaches, and advocacy for children’s rights. The organization supports people with disabilities through mobility aids and inclusion efforts, and helps women build economic skills through entrepreneurship training, market connections, and financial literacy. Additional work focuses on clean water and sanitation, climate resilience, environmental stewardship, and women’s roles in peace and security.

WOSCONET invites individuals to support its programs through donations and offers updates on its advocacy and community impact through a subscription service.
