## Description

Kotahi Music Festival is a vibrant annual event held in the stunning natural amphitheatre of Kahurangi School in Wellington. Established in 2014, Kotahi, which means "unity" in Māori, aims to foster community spirit and pride while celebrating Waitangi Day. This all-ages festival showcases a diverse array of New Zealand music, featuring renowned artists such as Fat Freddy's Drop, Anika Moa, and Tiki Taane, among others.

Committed to community values, Kotahi operates on a koha (donation) basis, ensuring that entry is accessible for everyone. The festival not only highlights exceptional music performances but also promotes local food vendors and various entertainment options, all offered at low or no cost. This welcoming atmosphere encourages participation from all attendees, allowing them to engage in the celebration of resilience, belonging, and manaakitanga, which reflects the heart of the Strathmore Park community. Join Kotahi Music Festival for an unforgettable experience celebrating culture and camaraderie.
