WOW - Dünya Kadınlar Festivali İstanbul is an empowering event that brings visibility to the challenges faced by women and girls, as well as the solutions they bring for a more equal world. In partnership with WOW - Dünya Kadınlar Vakfı and British Council, and with the support of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, this festival took place on March 19-20, 2022, at the iconic Müze Gazhane, a cultural heritage site and a new hub for artistic expression. With the participation of 3500 individuals, the WOW Dünya Kadınlar Festivali showcased a diverse range of activities and discussions, featuring over 200 artists, speakers, workshop leaders, and more than 40 civil society organizations and students from the United Kingdom and Turkey.

As one of the largest women's festivals in the world, WOW Istanbul has reached over three million people across six continents and more than 30 cities. It aims to foster dialogue, promote cultural and artistic expressions, and bring together the arts and civil society. By actively engaging the audience, WOW Istanbul creates a safe, inclusive, and embracing platform for sharing cultural and creative expressions.
