## Description

Wraps is an open-source email platform that helps teams build and operate application email using Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) in their own AWS accounts. With a single command, it deploys the sending infrastructure and supporting services, including event tracking, bounce and complaint handling, delivery history, and analytics. Teams pay AWS directly for sending, while Wraps provides a hosted control plane for managing email without relying on the AWS console.

The platform combines a TypeScript SDK with tools for creating and managing templates, broadcasts, audience segments, and automated workflows. Templates and workflows can be maintained as code and versioned in a team’s repository, supporting collaboration between engineers and content owners. A dashboard tracks delivery and engagement, monitors bounce and complaint rates against AWS thresholds, and provides suppression management and deliverability audits.

Wraps uses a bring-your-own-cloud model: sending infrastructure and delivery data reside in the customer’s AWS account, while Wraps hosts the dashboard and related management tools. It uses federated access rather than storing customers’ AWS credentials.
