## Description

Wits RHI is a pioneering research institute established in 1994 and affiliated with the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Led by Professor Helen Rees, our mission is to support the formulation and implementation of national policies concerning sexual and reproductive health. With a focus on sexual and reproductive health, vaccine and infectious diseases, and other emerging issues, our multi-disciplinary team leads and delivers impactful research projects that make a difference in the communities we serve. We prioritize pioneering, multi-disciplinary research, responsive technical support and innovation in health services, good participatory practices, teaching and capacity building, and developing African researchers. As a strategic partner of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and collaborating centers for UNAIDS, World Health Organization (WHO), and the South African Medical Research Council (MRC), we have gained international recognition for our work. Join us in making a positive impact on global healthcare. Contact us to learn more about our work at Wits RHI.
