## Description

Write Africa is a literary discovery platform dedicated to the richness and diversity of African literature. Its catalogue brings together 138 books and 74 authors from 22 countries, helping readers explore works and voices from across the continent. Visitors can browse titles by genre, including novels, poetry, essays, theatre, short stories, children’s books, autobiographies, and science fiction, or discover new releases, highly rated books, staff picks, and works adapted for film. Author profiles introduce writers such as Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Mariama Bâ, and Mohamed Mbougar Sarr. The site also features quotations, book descriptions, reading recommendations, literary news, reviews, and articles. Readers can create an account, save favourites, make lists, and share reviews, while authors and publishers can submit books or author profiles for consideration. Write Africa invites its community to stay informed through a newsletter and offers information about events and partnerships. By bringing books, authors, and literary commentary together, the platform makes African literature easier to explore and discover.
