## Description

David Bromley is a renowned brand that specializes in the World Religions and Spirituality Project (WRSP). Founded by Professor David G. Bromley in 2010 at Virginia Commonwealth University, WRSP is an international scholarly consortium that produces an online, academic reference resource. With the goal of creating profiles of alternative and emerging religious and spiritual groups, WRSP is a valuable source of information provided by religion scholars from around the world. Over the years, WRSP has grown into an independent organization and received recognition as a 501c(3) entity. With an increasing number of visitors from over 25 nations, WRSP incorporates original material freely available for personal and educational use. The brand also emphasizes copyright control, requiring permission for non-personal or educational use. The organizational governance of WRSP is vested in a Board of Directors, with key officers including Dr. David G. Bromley as the President. Additionally, the project is administered by Senior Directors of WRSP Special Projects, who oversee various regional and thematic categories. The World Religions and Spirituality Project is supported by various donors and funding organizations, allowing the continuous development and sustenance of this valuable academic resource.
