# WRSS Scholarship Foundation - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `wrssscholarshipfoundation.org` ## Description The Wilson, Reeves, Spearman, and Simmons (WRSS) Scholarship Foundation is a South Carolina nonprofit established to expand educational opportunities for disadvantaged and underrepresented students. Founded by brothers Anthony Wilson and Herbert Wilson III, the organization reflects their belief that education and vocational training can help create pathways to opportunity and financial independence. The brothers drew on their own experiences growing up in Detroit and the encouragement they received to pursue higher education. The foundation’s mission is to provide substantial scholarship funding annually to underrepresented high school seniors entering their first year of college or a vocational training program. Its broader vision includes helping students gain the education or practical skills needed for future employment. WRSS raises funds through campaigns and welcomes tax-deductible donations to support its scholarships. The organization also shares information about scholarship applications and recipients, memorial scholarships, upcoming events, sponsors, and award ceremonies. Based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, the foundation presents integrity, professionalism, and community service as guiding principles, and aims to sustain its support for students across generations. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Grants Scholarships and Financial Aid _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/wrssscholarshipfoundation) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/wrssscholarshipfoundation) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/102544872) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCnCTFBrN/w/500/h/500/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793146273867) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCnCTFBrN/w/333/h/333/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793146274258) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Flush Orange | #ff8705 | accent | | Swamp | #000303 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
