# WSPHC - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `wsphc.org` ## Description The Washington State Paint Horse Club (WSPHC) is a community organization for people who share a passion for Paint Horses. Founded in 1968, it is Washington’s oldest Paint Horse club and has supported the breed and local equestrian traditions for more than five decades. Its activities bring together lifelong riders, young equestrians, and newcomers through opportunities to learn, compete, and connect. The club hosts the annual Star Spangled Classic, described as Washington’s largest APHA-approved Paint Horse show, along with monthly meetings and social gatherings. Members can also take part in youth activities, educational clinics, and community events, including the club barbecue and Christmas in November celebration. WSPHC supports local causes such as Fisher House at Ft. Lewis and humane societies, and works with 4-H clubs and WAHSET teams. Its youth scholarship program recognizes young people pursuing education while remaining connected to the Paint Horse community.
