## Description

Waterski en wakeboard vereniging de Ven, also known as WSV De Ven, was a waterski and wakeboarding association based in Enkhuizen. The organization brought members together around fast water sports and provided information for people interested in its activities. Its website featured sections on rates, membership, group visits and arrangements, as well as contact and reservation options, indicating that the association catered to both individual members and organized groups. It also shared practical information, house and conduct rules, and details about its statutes, alongside privacy and booking policies.

WSV De Ven has announced that it is dissolving. After years of operating with a small, close-knit membership, the association was unable to find new board members and concluded that it could no longer continue. Members unanimously agreed to end the organization and are working together on a considerate closure. The association looks back on years of shared experiences, sociability, commitment and community. Although WSV De Ven is closing, its legacy is remembered by those who helped make the club meaningful.
