## Description

WVLDI, the Women's Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative, is a brand dedicated to inspiring and empowering veterinary leaders to embrace diversity and equity within the profession. Their vision is to create an inclusive professional community where all members can fulfill the promise of the veterinary oath. WVLDI achieves this through their mission to be a strong and impactful voice, supporting women and allies seeking leadership positions, providing professional development and educational content, developing student leaders, and engaging in social media discussions. Their purpose is to strengthen and elevate the veterinary profession as a whole. WVLDI has played a significant role in driving discussions, conducting workshops, and facilitating student development to address the lack of representation in leadership roles. They strive to collaborate with veterinarians across the spectrum to ensure the success and future of veterinary medicine. With numerous opportunities to get involved, including board service, social media contributions, student outreach, and more, WVLDI welcomes anyone interested in making a difference to contact them. Together, let's lead the way to a stronger and more diverse veterinary profession.
