## Description

GreatFireVPN is a virtual private network service developed by GreatFire.org, an anti-censorship organization founded in 2011. It is designed to help people access the open internet in countries where websites and services are restricted, including China, Russia, Iran, India, Turkmenistan and Myanmar; it is also used in Cuba. Drawing on more than a decade of experience circumventing internet restrictions, the service uses multiple connection methods and fallback strategies to support reliable access under changing network conditions. Its apps automatically select a suitable server and connection method, and users can choose from more than 100 servers worldwide. Features include split tunneling on Android, local access to selected services in supported countries, and a no-logs policy. GreatFireVPN says it does not collect personal data, and users can start without registration or an email address. Apps are available for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. New users receive a 30-day free trial, with paid plans available for 30, 90, 180 or 365 days.
