Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation is a renowned national 501(c)(3) public charity that is dedicated to supporting combat-wounded soldiers who have received the Purple Heart medal. Our organization aims to honor and recognize their sacrifice by offering them the opportunity to engage in world-class outdoor sporting activities at absolutely no cost. We believe in promoting independence, connection with communities, and overall well-being through camaraderie and a shared passion for the outdoors.

Through our tailored, small group events spanning 2 to 3 days, we foster a deeper bond and peer-to-peer interaction among our Heroes. We also incorporate the healing power of nature to aid in their recovery. Every event is supported by a proven and certified Purple Heart Associate, who serves as a mentor and guide for fellow combat-wounded veterans.

Moreover, we actively encourage regional and local community involvement in our outdoor sporting events, creating meaningful and lasting relationships between American Heroes and Sportsmen and women.
