## Description

Württembergischer Yacht-Club e.V. is a sailing club based in Friedrichshafen, with activities centered on recreational sailing, yacht racing and sailing education. It brings together sailors of different ages and experience levels, supporting both participation in club life and competitive development. The club organizes regattas throughout the season, including its Wednesday and Friday races, yacht competitions and events that form part of Friedrichshafen’s sailing calendar. Its teams also compete in the 1. Segel-Bundesliga and international Olympic-class events.

Youth development is a key part of the club’s work. Young members can take part in sailing instruction, regular training, camps and activities across several boat classes, with an inclusive sailing offer also available. For adults, the club provides theoretical and practical instruction aimed at helping participants earn a range of sailing licenses. Members can access club boats and facilities, including the harbor and dinghy grounds, while events and club outings offer opportunities to sail together beyond competition.
