## Description

WyGISC, the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center at the University of Wyoming, is a premier interdisciplinary institute dedicated to advancing geographic information science and technology through comprehensive research, education, and community outreach. As an innovative center, WyGISC offers a range of programs, including undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as certificate options in Geospatial Information Science & Technology. 

The center specializes in developing applications utilizing spatial data and technologies, positioning itself as a leader in remote sensing and Earth observation education. Faculty and students engage in impactful research and projects, such as drone operations for agricultural advancements and ecosystem management, while also pioneering solutions for real-world challenges in land and resource management. 

With a mission to enhance knowledge and application of geospatial technologies, WyGISC remains committed to its role in supporting the university, the state of Wyoming, and beyond, fostering a rich learning environment that integrates practical skills and academic excellence.
