## Description

X Challenge offers virtual distance challenges that combine personal fitness goals with collectible, hand-crafted medals. Participants choose from seven individual challenges, ranging from 5 km to 179 km, or join themed bundles inspired by Eastern mythology and Norse legends. Each challenge has a set completion window tailored to its distance, and participants can register before they are ready to begin.

Distance is tracked in the X Challenge app using a phone’s GPS. Eligible activities include running, walking, cycling, swimming, and rowing. The countdown starts when participants tap Start in the app, and completing the full distance unlocks medal shipping. In the United States, medals are shipped within 5–10 business days after completion. The medals are described as heavy die-cast metal, and bundles offer savings compared with purchasing their included challenges individually.

X Challenge provides app-based progress tracking, email support, and a 30-day money-back guarantee for challenges that have not been started. The iOS app is available, while the Android app is still in development.
