Xchange. org is a brand that believes in the power of data to transform public perception on human migration. They go beyond the headlines to provide meaning to numbers and advocate for better knowledge of migration through freely available data visualization and analysis, as well as in-depth research and reports.

By engaging with all stakeholders, especially migrants themselves, Xchange investigates and documents human movement in countries of origin, transit, and destination. Their goal is to provide accurate data derived from field research to policy makers, state bodies, non-governmental organizations, and the public. Xchange aims to cast a spotlight on the information gaps along migratory routes for the benefit of all, especially migrants.

They aspire to generate greater awareness of human migration by turning data into insight and insight into action. As an open-source information provider, Xchange welcomes collaboration with various stakeholders, ideas, and solutions. They were founded in 2017 by Christopher Catrambone, co-founder of the humanitarian organization Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS), and are seeking support from the public, grant-making organizations, crowd-funding initiatives, foundations, and private and corporate sponsorships to continue their mission.
