## Description

X-Fragile Piemonte is a nonprofit association in Italy’s Piedmont region supporting people with Fragile X syndrome and their families. The association describes Fragile X as a genetic condition caused by a mutation in the FMR1 gene on the X chromosome. Its work focuses on helping families navigate the condition and promoting autonomy, inclusion, and connection, guided by the belief that families should not face the journey alone.
