## Description

X-Lab is JGL’s expert research hub focused on eye health and its connections with the rest of the body. Bringing together specialists across ophthalmology, neurology, psychiatry, endocrinology, rheumatology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat medicine, general practice, pharmacy and engineering, it reviews current research and shares a holistic perspective on caring for vision.

Through articles, expert interviews, infographics and quizzes, X-Lab explains topics such as children’s vision and myopia, screen and sunlight exposure, dry eye, allergies, glaucoma, and the links between eye health and neurological, thyroid, sinus and other conditions. Its content also offers practical guidance on recognizing symptoms, seeking timely care, and understanding how factors such as blood pressure, blood sugar, aging and daily habits may affect vision.

X-Lab aims to make eye-health information accessible and relevant, emphasizing prevention and the importance of vision to overall wellbeing. Its resources are intended to help readers better understand their eyes and take informed steps to care for them.
