## Description

The Memory Search Team, founded in 1985 and based in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, is dedicated to exploring the history and preserving the memory of World War II events in the Rostov region. This public organization focuses on field expeditions, meticulous research through archives, and documenting findings related to wartime activities. Their commitment extends to helping families and educational institutions understand their historical significance.

Through collaborative efforts, the team investigates reports of discovered artifacts or potential battle sites, ensuring that every piece of history is preserved and shared. The team's initiatives include organizing educational events, engaging with schools, and maintaining a comprehensive chronicle of their findings and activities.

In addition to fieldwork, Memory fosters community participation by enabling individuals to report discoveries, enhancing the collective understanding of local heritage. Their efforts culminate in providing verified information to families, museums, and memorial sites, thus ensuring that the sacrifices of past heroes are honored and remembered for generations to come.
