## Description

Amarkosh is a pioneering online platform dedicated to preserving and promoting Bhartiya languages through a comprehensive range of dictionaries. Founded by Vinod Singh, this initiative was launched on the second Monday of Shravan month in Vikram Samvat 2077, motivated by a vision to create an extensive resource that supports language and culture. The site initially offered Hindi and English dictionaries, but has since expanded to include multiple Indian languages, reflecting the belief that culture is intertwined with language.

Amarkosh emphasizes the importance of modern techniques in keeping Bhartiya languages alive, especially as many face the risk of extinction. The dictionaries are primarily based on the Indo Wordnet from IIT Bombay and utilize the latest advancements in language technology. With a mission to foster a deeper understanding of native languages, Amarkosh works tirelessly to ensure that users have access to accurate and evolving language resources. By nurturing linguistic diversity, Amarkosh helps safeguard the cultural heritage of India for future generations.
