## Description

**Brand Description: LIEPA**

LIEPA, a project initiated by Vilnius University, focuses on enhancing communication technologies through the development of speech recognition and synthesis for the Lithuanian language. Launched on February 15, 2013, and concluding on August 14, 2015, LIEPA is dedicated to creating tools that enable users to interact with computers vocally in Lithuanian. The initiative aims to address the unique linguistic challenges posed by the language's rich inflectional structure.

The offerings include an array of services, such as mobile applications tailored for blind users, text-to-speech readers, and tools for capturing and converting spoken Lithuanian into text. The project also promotes thought leadership in multilingual interoperability, catering to various demographics, including students and adults in professional settings.

Through collaboration with esteemed institutions, LIEPA delivers cutting-edge solutions that not only aid in language learning but also support the disabled community, ultimately fostering better access to digital content and improving user experiences across platforms.
