## Description

Xpace Cultural Centre is a notable brand in the art and design industry, dedicated to providing emerging and student artists, designers, curators, and writers with invaluable opportunities to showcase their work in a professional setting. Operating as a not-for-profit artist-run center, Xpace creates a welcoming environment for marginalized, racialized, Black, and Indigenous folks, maintaining an anti-oppressive and queer positive atmosphere. They offer a wide range of dynamic programming, including exhibitions, events, panels, and workshops that respond directly to the needs and interests of their communities and membership, pushing the boundaries of theory and aesthetics. By expanding notions of art and collaboration, Xpace actively fosters thought-provoking and experimental projects. Their commitment to inclusivity is reinforced by their support from the OCAD Student Union, making their programs accessible to students and emerging practitioners from any educational background. Xpace Cultural Centre operates on sacred land, recognizing the rich history and cultural significance of Tkaronto, and gratefully acknowledges the Indigenous peoples who inhabit it.
