## Description

Crossroads is a Philadelphia nonprofit and a roaming home for comedy shows, performing arts education, and podcasts. It brings together emerging performers, experienced local comedians, and visiting talent for audiences across the city. Its live programming includes improv, sketch comedy, stand-up, storytelling, musical improv, and variety shows, with select tickets available on a pay-what-you-want basis.

Crossroads offers classes for adults in longform and musical improv, comedy writing, stand-up, storytelling, clowning, acting, and dramatic improv, among other subjects. Some courses are available online, while in-person classes take place at varying locations in Center City Philadelphia. Beginner classes require no prior experience and welcome people interested in creativity, communication, confidence, collaboration, and meeting others, whether or not they want to perform.

The organization also produces podcasts about comedy and popular culture, including discussions of television and film franchises. For businesses and other organizations, Crossroads provides customized applied-improv workshops focused on practical skills such as listening, leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
