## Description

DROP is a community-driven meme coin project built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). It aims to bring attention to XRPL meme coins and introduce more people to the ledger and its decentralized finance features. The project says its token supply is 1,000,000 DROP, reflecting the relationship between drops and XRP, and reports that 99% of the supply is circulating while 1% is burned.

Launched by XRP enthusiast Alex Cobb, DROP became a community takeover project after its development supply was burned. A self-funded, internationally based team and active community now support its development, promotion, and ecosystem. The project highlights liquidity pools and connections with other XRPL tokens, and encourages users to explore the XRPL decentralized exchange and automated market maker tools.

DROP is available through several centralized and decentralized platforms, including Bitrue, First Ledger, Magnetic, and Horizon, with liquidity pools listed on XPMarket. Its roadmap outlines plans for listings, NFTs, XRPL education, liquidity and farming rewards, partnerships, merchandise, and broader brand growth.
