## Description

Yachtclub Bitterfeld e.V. is a watersports club founded in 2001 to promote sailing and other water-based activities on the Goitzsche Lake in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The club welcomes members, families and visitors interested in taking part in sailing or enjoying its grounds. Its facilities include land and water berths, indoor winter storage, and a clubhouse with training and meeting rooms, changing areas, a kitchen, toilets and showers. Members can also book the club’s Laser Bahia boats, available from the 2025 season.

The club supports sailors of different ages and experience levels through youth training, introductory sailing opportunities and sailing courses for school students. Its calendar features regular Wednesday regattas, youth competitions and other events, including the MiDDle East Cup for the Ixylon and 505er classes. In 2022, Yachtclub Bitterfeld hosted the International German Championships for those two classes. Alongside its sporting programme, the club offers a spacious setting for recreation and community activities, and publishes event information, results and updates for members and sailing enthusiasts.
