## Description

Yvonne Ashley Galiber Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (YAGF) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the U.S. Virgin Islands. For 18 years, the foundation has supported women and men affected by breast cancer, along with their families, with a focus on people who are medically underserved or uninsured. Its mission combines practical assistance, survivor support, and community education to help reduce cancer risk and improve access to care.

YAGF provides financial assistance for breast cancer screening, diagnostic mammograms, and related services. Its programs include mammogram and screening support, an AKA voucher program, and assistance with biopsies through its American Cancer Society partnership. The foundation also offers survivor support, including a monthly support group, and shares a free self-exam guide to encourage awareness and early detection.

Through events, campaigns, educational resources, and community partnerships, YAGF brings people together to support those facing cancer. Its work is carried out by volunteers, board members, donors, partners, and clients, with a continuing commitment to compassionate care and a healthier, more hopeful Virgin Islands.
