Yaseen

Yaseen Foundation is a prominent Muslim community association serving the San Francisco Peninsula area in California. Established in 1999, Yaseen is dedicated to working collaboratively to create a brighter future for our children. We extend our services not only to the Muslim community but also to the wider non-Muslim community of the Peninsula.

At Yaseen, we offer a diverse range of programs and services across three main categories. Our Yaseen Youth Center focuses on youth professional development, activism, and recreational activities. From social justice and civil liberties training to media production and robotics workshops, we empower young individuals to unleash their potential.

Additionally, we provide various social services such as food distribution in collaboration with the 2nd Food Harvest Bank, financial assistance for families in need, and counseling services. Our Islamic services and education include prayers, Quran contests, and Islamic education for young children at Al-Iman school. Yaseen also manages Yaseen Garden, a section of burial plots purchased from Skylawn Memorial Park, offering hassle-free burial services.

Our organization is governed by a dedicated team including the Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, and Shura Council. We value transparency and community involvement, ensuring that our organization operates effectively and efficiently.
