Yassmina Karajah is a renowned Jordanian-Palestinian screenwriter and director, dividing her time between Amman and Toronto. She has gained international recognition for her captivating short films, which have been featured at esteemed festivals like the Toronto International Film Festival, AFI, Dubai International Film Festival, and Melbourne International Film Festival, among others. Her latest creation, RUPTURE (2018), made its debut at TIFF, secured a spot in MoMA's New Directors/New Films, and even won the prestigious Grand Jury prize at Slamdance.

Notably, Karajah became the inaugural recipient of the Russo Brother's Fellowship. Presently, she is embarking on her first full-length feature film set in Jordan, with the generous backing of Russo Brother's AGBO films. Karajah boasts an impressive educational background, earning a LL.
