Yavenvale Herefords, located in the scenic area of Yaven Creek, 40km south of Adelong, NSW, is a family-owned business operated by James & Nicki and Pat Pearce. Established in 1999, the stud began with 500 registered females of pure GVPC blood as part of a family restructure. Today, it has grown to become one of the largest registered herds in the country, with over 1000 registered females.

The main property, Yavenvale, serves as the venue for their annual on-property bull sale, which features 110+ bulls and takes place on the third Wednesday in February. Additionally, Yavenvale manages and owns a total of seven different properties, encompassing a vast area of 2953 hectares. Yavenvale Herefords is dedicated to breeding top-quality cattle with a focus on superior milk, muscle, marbling, and growth EBVs (Estimated Breeding Values).

All their stud cattle have complete Breedplan figures, including analysis for growth and carcass data. The herd is 100% poll bred, with poll blood introduced in 2002. With their commitment to excellence, Yavenvale Herefords ensures pedigree integrity by genotyping all their 2019 Q drop calves.
