## Description

Yayasan Bank Rakyat (YBR) is dedicated to uplifting the socio-economic status of underprivileged Malaysians through educational initiatives and human capital development. Established on June 11, 2005, during the Annual General Meeting of Bank Rakyat, YBR operates as an independent entity focused on enriching the lives of Malaysians beyond mere subsistence.

The foundation provides various educational financing options, such as the Transformable Education Financing Program, aimed at assisting eligible Malaysian citizens pursuing undergraduate degrees. YBR is also committed to enhancing academic performance and holistic educational exposure for school children and higher education students through targeted programs.

In addition to education, YBR is actively involved in community development by implementing programs that focus on welfare, entrepreneurship, and skills enhancement, ultimately aiming to improve the overall quality of life. The foundation empowers students, youth, and communities through career development initiatives, offering courses and training that are beneficial for personal and professional growth.
