Yazoo Brewing Company is a Nashville original that began from a homebrewer's dream. Founded by Co-Founders Lila and Linus Hall in 2003, this independent and locally-owned brewery quickly gained a loyal following. They started by self-distributing kegs of their popular Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Spring Wheat, and Onward Stout to local bars and restaurants.

Over the years, they expanded their lineup to include award-winning beers like the Hefeweizen, Sly Rye Porter, and Hop Project IPA. In 2010, Yazoo moved to a new location in The Gulch neighborhood, which allowed them to increase their production capacity and offer more beer options. They continued to grow and in 2018, opened a brand new Taproom and Brewery on a 6.

5-acre campus north of downtown. Today, Yazoo Brewing Company remains independently owned and operated by Linus and Lila Hall, who are actively involved in the brewing process. Additionally, Yazoo embraces the funk with their Embrace The Funk series, crafted in collaboration with local brewer/writer Brandon Jones.
