YCore is a nonprofit organization based in the Bay Area with a mission to train working professionals in the tech and other industries to be committed and impactful volunteers for local social justice nonprofits. Since 2012, they have mobilized over 700 young professionals to make a meaningful contribution in their communities. YCore aims to build a culture of solidarity in the Bay Area and beyond.

They recognize that the default ways of practicing social impact work and philanthropy do not prioritize listening to community voices and investigating the systems that create and reinforce inequality. YCore's vision is to build solidarity across socioeconomic boundaries for a more just, inclusive, and equitable future. They achieve this through their program, which includes partnering teams of young professional fellows with local nonprofits to work on a 4-month strategic project.

The goal is to provide nonprofits with skills and resources they wouldn't otherwise have access to, while also offering young professionals the opportunity to practice solidarity and use their skills to support important work.
