## Description

Yacht Club Solenice is a sailing club based by the Orlík Reservoir, where it brings together people interested in sailing, water-based activities, and club life. Founded on 19 October 1974 as the Solenice Sailing Section within TJ Solenice, the club has a long local history and a distinctive spirit shaped by its founding influence, Ing. Ivar Horký.

The club organizes summer camps at Kameny, giving children the chance to sail on the Orlík Lake in both dinghies and cabin sailboats while enjoying outdoor adventures and friendship. It also offers sailing courses for people who want to learn to handle a sailboat safely, improve their sailing skills, or document practical experience for a VMP boating licence.

Members take part in sailing races in the Czech Republic and abroad. The club’s activities also include planned events, work gatherings, meetings, and social outings.
