## Description

Yachtclub Wismar von 1897 e.V. is a sailing club and sports harbor located in Wismar-Wendorf, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, on the Wismarbucht. Welcoming members and visiting sailors, the club combines a community-focused sailing tradition with facilities for boating and harbor stays. Its marina offers around 150 berths, with spaces for boats up to 13 metres long and 4.2 metres wide. On-site amenities include a 10-tonne boat crane, a mast crane, three slipways for dinghies and sports boats, showers and sanitary facilities, laundry equipment, and electricity and water at the pontoons. A sailing school is also based at the harbor.

The club supports sailing through its youth program, working groups, regattas, events, and member activities. Harbor staff provide information about berths, mooring, and practical arrangements during the main season, from April through October. The club also shares navigation guidance for approaching the harbor and publishes news, photographs, documents, and information about its history. Based at Zum Yachthafen 4 in Wismar, Yachtclub Wismar offers both a sailing community and a well-equipped base for exploring the bay.
