# Yebo Volleyball - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `yebovolleyball.co.za` ## Description Yebo Volleyball is a South African non-profit organization that uses volleyball to support young people, particularly disadvantaged youth in the Western Cape. Officially founded in 2015, it has been volunteering since 2011, introducing and teaching the sport at primary schools in and around Cape Town. The organization trains more than 200 children each year, from primary school through university, combining volleyball coaching with mentoring, work experience, and education opportunities. The program helps students build confidence and pursue their athletic and academic goals. Yebo Volleyball connects young players with schools, sports programs, and scholarship opportunities so they can continue their studies while playing volleyball. The organization reports that 30 students have attended Western Cape Sports School, with some later receiving partial volleyball scholarships at university. Yebo Volleyball also seeks to create work opportunities for South African youth in coaching, event organization, and sourcing sports equipment. Its activities are supported through donations and community fundraising, including tournaments. Supporters can contribute by donating, volunteering, or helping organize fundraising events. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Volleyball _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/yebovolleyball) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/yebovolleyball) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idxWbn6Rut/w/300/h/142/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793436647484) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idxWbn6Rut/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793436647988) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | accent | | Luxor Gold | #a6822f | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
